Conversion Cylinder Information
North American Arms offers conversion cylinders for many of our mini revolvers, allowing compatible .22 Magnum models to also fire .22 Long Rifle ammunition.
Cylinder Fitting & Timing
All conversion cylinders must be fitted and timed to your specific firearm by our gunsmiths. Because of normal manufacturing tolerances, cylinders are not drop-in parts and should not be interchanged between revolvers, even if they are the same model and caliber.
For safety and proper function, we do not recommend purchasing used cylinders or installing cylinders from another firearm.
Cost
Standard conversion cylinder: $50 plus shipping
Sidewinder, Ranger II, Sentinel, and Recluse conversion cylinder: $100 plus shipping
How to Order
To purchase a conversion cylinder, your firearm must be sent to North American Arms so our technicians can properly fit and time the cylinder. Please reach out to our facility over the phone or via email at customerservice@northamericanarms.com to get the process started. Before shipping your firearm, please review our Shipping Options & Policies.
Each package including a gun must include:
- Your name
- Return shipping address
- Phone number and email
- Firearm serial number
- A note requesting a conversion cylinder
Compatible Firearms
Most .22 Magnum mini revolvers can be fitted with a .22 Long Rifle conversion cylinder. If you’re unsure whether your firearm is compatible, please contact Customer Service with your serial number and we’ll be happy to verify compatibility.
Important Notes
- Conversion cylinders are individually fitted to each firearm.
- Cylinders are not interchangeable between revolvers.
- Please send only the firearm unless instructed otherwise by Customer Service.
